It is with mixed emotions that TVSR proudly bids Mr. Nick Keyes, Assistant Reservation Director, well wishes and good luck in his future adventures. Mr. Keyes will be leaving the Valley to begin work as a Professional Scouter with the Knox Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America. Although a bitter sweet moment we are proud that one of TVSR’s finest will be joining the ranks of Professional Scouting.
Nick has spent many years on staff in the kitchen and as member of the camp administration. His work with the Order of the Arrow Lodge and on the Ranger Crew are a testament to his dedication to Scouting and cheerful service. He leaves behind big boots to fill!
Please join us in congratulating Nick Keyes and wishing him well as he continues down the Scouting Trail!
Transitioning into the role of Assistant Reservation Director of the 2017 Summer Camp Season will be Mr. Patrick Grady. Treasure Valley is pleased to have Patrick returning this year, you may remember him as the Business Manager in 2016 and as the Commissioner in 2015.
Patrick has been a member of Troop 158 out of Shrewsbury. It is there he earned his Eagle rank in 2012. He has served in various positions for Mohegan Council’s Pachachaug Lodge, including Lodge Chief in 2013. He currently is still active in the lodge, serving as their Events Advisor. This will be his fifth summer working at TVSR. He has served previously as BSI Director (2), Commissioner, and Business Manager. Outside of Scouting, he has studied at American University for his BSBA and BSA and is going to NorthEastern for his MSA.
