This Fall program at the Auburn Sportman’s Club is open for just 4 weekends and Larry Reich of Troop 101 has invited Mohegan Council Cub & Boy Scouts to attend on September 9, 10, 24, and October 7. Due to the delicate nature of the activity, numbers are limited to 10 spectators at each station to rotate through. Quiet voices and close parental supervision is a requirement.
Remember: Banding will not take place in the rain. Rubber boots are essential and cold weather gear advised.
- 5:30AM – Nets are put out
- 6:00 – 7:00AM – Prime time for bird trapping
- 7:30AM – Banding, weighing and releasing
- 9:00AM – Program ends
Sporting: “Any activity or experience that gives enjoyment or recreation”.
That sums up what the Auburn Sportsman’s Club is here for.
From kids derbys and archery shoots to instruction and education, there is a full compliment of activities year round for members and at times, their guests and the public as well. The ASC provides great experiences in so many different ways for sportsmen and their families.
