What is it?

A FUN, LEARNING, CAMPING Event just for WEBELOS, Run by Boy Scouts. This is a great tool to energize your Webelos for the adventure that awaits them in Boy Scouting.

 Who can attend?

All First and Second Year Webelos and Leaders/Parents; Boy Scouts to help run stations and logistic team.

When is it?

October 2-4 ,2015 Registration opens at 8 AM Saturday the 3rd.   Event activities will spread over two days ending  Sunday Afternoon. Register early, this event is capped at 250 Webelos participants!  Register by Pack or Troop, no at door arrivals will be allowed. This is a Rain or shine event, please plan accordingly.

Costs?

Webelos Scouts $20.oo each (program resources, patch and Saturday BBQ)

Adults/Leaders $8.00 each (includes patch and Sat. BBQ)

Lunch on Saturday will be a BBQ to all those attending Webelos Woods. All other meals are the responsibilities of the individual units. We encourage Cub Scout Packs to plan and work with a Boy Scout Troop with regards to their menus. Food will be available for purchase in advance from our Camp Kitchen (Breakfast $4, Lunch $5, Dinner $7).

What to bring?

Every Webelos Scout must have an adult responsible for them, max. ratio 2 boys to 1 adult. Bring camping equipment (Tent, sleeping bag, water, etc.) toiletries, rain gear and appropriate clothing, please refer to your Webelos Handbook for a camping gear list.

Activities:

Camping! Campfire! Cool Boy Scout Stuff like Pioneering, Cooking, Compass and even some achievements for the Webelos to earn. Webelos will attend 6 different sessions with Boy Scouts and Subject Matter Experts. There will also be plenty of free time and other activities to round out your Camping Fun.

4:30-7:30 PM– Staff Check in

6:30 PM-7:30 PM- Troop check in  (NO Cub Scouts, Troops Only)

8:00 PM– Troop Leadership Meeting (location – TBD)

8:45 PM- Movie and popcorn- Council Ring (East lodge if raining)

11:00 PM– Lights out
