Fall 2017 Beaver Day @ Treasure Valley Scout Reservation | Rutland | Massachusetts | United States

We are looking for volunteers of all ages and abilities to help prepare the camp for the fall and winter season!

Beaver Days are work days held throughout the year to help with needed projects at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation.

Calling all Campers!

We need your help to get camp ready for the fall and winter season! Looking for a way to give back to camp? Want to help improve camp? Come out to one of our Fall Beaver Days! All are welcome! You can register as a Troop/Pack or individually! Campsites are free for all of those who volunteer. Start time is 8:30 with lunch included!

Tentative Schedule for the day:

  • 8:30 am Arrival at Benedict Field, Coffee and Water available. (Day visitors park in Jamboree Field)
  • 8:45am Welcome and assignments.
  • Noon  Lunch at Pine Point
  • 1:00-3:30pm Afternoon Projects
  • 4:00 pm All camp materials and tools returned to Benedict Field

Want to improve your own campsite? We’ve got projects in every site. Help get your campsite ready for summer camp! We’d be happy to put you to work on platform repair, campfire ring repair, and spreading mulch in campsites. Let us know what kind of improvements you’d like to see.

Tools

Have a leaf blower? Hand tools? Gloves? Bring them with you! We have a lot of clean up and you might prefer to use your favorite leaf blower over our old rakes. We need your help to get camp ready!
