We are looking for volunteers of all ages and abilities to help prepare the Camp for the Summer!
Beaver Days are work days held throughout the year to help with needed projects at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation.

We need your help to get camp open! Looking for a way to give back to camp? Want to help improve camp? Come out to one of our Spring Beaver Days!
April 21th & May 19th – Beaver Day!
All are welcome! Two Beaver Days are held in the Spring each year! You can register as a Troop/Pack or individually! Campsites are free for all of those who volunteer. Start time is 8:30 with lunch included!
- Interior Painting
- Exterior Painting
- Clearing brush
- Chip debris
- Cut stumps
- Building benches
- Clearing leaves
- Spreading mulch
- Work clothes
- Boots or tennis shoes (no open toed shoes)
- Work gloves
- Any personal tools you may find useful
Tentative Schedule for the day:
- 8:30 am Arrival at Benedict Field, Coffee and Water available. (Day visitors park in Jamboree Field)
- 8:45am Welcome and assignments.
- Noon Lunch at Pine Point
- 1:00-3:30pm Afternoon Projects
- 4:00 pm All camp materials and tools returned to Benedict Field
- Water breaks
- Beaver Day Patch
Want to improve your own campsite? We’ve got projects in every site. Help get your campsite ready for summer camp! We’d be happy to put you to work on platform repair, campfire ring repair, and spreading mulch in campsites.
Have a leaf blower? Hand tools? Gloves? Bring them with you! We have a lot of clean up and you might prefer to use your favorite leaf blower over our old rakes. We need your help to get camp ready!
Weekend camping for units is provided free of charge for units who volunteer, must be reserved ahead of time! Contact the Council Service Center once your to reserve a campsite.
Your time at camp counts as service hours for your unit! Don’t forget to log your service hours!
